PointOS is a restaurant management platform designed to help restaurants, bars and shops operate more efficiently and profitably. Platform provides POS, payment processing, reporting analytics, and deep insights that help the bottom line. Ukrainian Delphi Team is providing PointOS Company with high qualified supporting of their products and implementing new features and projects.

PointOS proposes several main products, such as:

• PointOS main full program that includes multi-server modes, new easy modifications and order/split-check functions, EManagement & scheduling, menu management, modifier control, inventory & recipe setup, inventory re-order, server analytics, print directly to kitchen & service bar, dining room layout designer. On the basis of the existing PointOS main full program, a new, modern cross-platform program with rich functionality is being developed, including unique features, such as waitlist, table services, reservations and so on.
• PointOS to go app is easily downloaded onto Android and iOS, so that customers have a menu right in their pockets. Users can also utilize the online ordering web app. PointOS To Go seamlessly integrates to myPointOS portal, which means menu setup and maintenance is a breeze. It integrates with inventory, keeping all restaurant data in sync. With PointOS To Go, user can customize featured image, menu items, pictures, descriptions, and modifiers. Both the web app and mobile app offer loads of customizable features so user can keep the look and feel of restaurant’s brand.
• The cloud POS software, integrated with POS hardware, uses an internet infrastructure to access data via a remote server. In other words, the data stored in POS system can be automatically backed up and synced, making it easier to protect and update information. Cloud solutions are capable of integrating multiple sales channels and, in addition to enhanced security, allow businesses to enjoy the benefits of centralized storage, memory, processing and bandwidth.

  Technical input

Ukrainian Delphi Team is working on full technical support, implementation new features, updates and projects. Development team is providing their helicopter view and improving every part of the product they are working on. 

PointOS runs on any Microsoft Windows system, including 2008, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10, and is compatible with all industry standard accessories and peripherals. PointOS to go app also runs onto Android and iOS.
During development, team is using Delphi XE8 and Delphi 10.3.1, and such components as:

• COM Port.
• Eureca Log.
• ChilkatPack.
• QuickBooks Integrator.
• PBEditPack.
• Raise Controls 6.
• TMS.
• Rave Reports.
• SDac.

The connection with the database is performed through the API server, which is based on the http protocol. Development team is also using MsSQL database server.
For the cloud management development team is using ColdFusion server and IntelliJ IDEA for coding and implementation. In addition, team is using services for working with Google maps.
